Z's 7th Grade Morning Book List & Literature Guides

We're actually starting this list now in the middle of 6th grade and may expand it as the next school year goes on. He is reading the unabridged versions of:

(He may also read more science fiction from Verne and H.G. Wells.)

SECULARISM is a philosophy that claims that there is no God-or that if there is a God, He is irrelevant. HUMANISM essentially says that in the absence of God, humans can and should act as gods by judging, choosing, and defining what is right for themselves.
